2022 Public goals

I like when other people share their goals. So here are mine. Put your goals out in the universe and watch how many people will come and help you achieve them.

Own $5M Worth Of Real Estate

Last year the goal was to get skin in the game. I did that with the purchase of a self storage facility in Dallas. This year the goal is to turn this into more of a business.

Progress: As of 7/8 – 3 properties owned, 280 units, $2.4M in market value (based on purchase price + appraised value). Hoping I can update this at the end of Q3 with a new deal 😊

Activities to get here:

2,500 cold calls

125 offers made (5%)

6 deals closed (5%)

Generate $6M In Sales Through Ecom & Online Businesses

I’ll share all of the numbers here. Important thing is that we keep some of that $6M too 😉

Progress: As of 7/8 – 30% of the way there

Activities to get there:

1) Spend 1.5 M on FB ads

2) Spend $30k on SEO work

3) Hire in-house content creator for Tiktok + Influencer work

4) Hire performance marketer (email & sms)

Grow Podcast, Twitter & Youtube

I’ve had so much fun this year building a podcast, tweeting more, etc. I want to do even more of that this year.

Twitter – 25k followers (starting at 10)

Podcast – 100 episodes – 100,000 downloads (starting at 33k)

Youtube – 20 Videos (starting at 0)

Activities to get there:

1) 8 twitter threads/month on business (ecom, real estate & podcasts)

2) Publish 2 podcasts/week

3) Record & Edit 2 Videos/month

Progress: As of 7/8 – 14.6k followers, 73k downloads, 7 videos

I like to travel.

Looks like August I’ll be in Portugal and just signed a lease in NYC for Sept 1 onwards. Maybe I’ll write a blog post here regarding why I picked that vs. Thailand & ATX.

Sub 12% Body Fat

I was gonna make this sub 10% but I think I like drinking & eating out too much to make that happen. Also my previous health goals all focused on the inputs. Run X miles. Workout Y days per year.

So I’m going to focus on the output for the goal.

Right now I’m 185 and ~16%.

Progress as of 7/8:

I need to do a Dexa Scan. I’ll do one in September.

But I’m for sure noticeably leaner. And at the same body weight (but with abs)

I’ll leave the “activities to get there” section up on the right to show what I thought it would take but the main 4 things came down to simply:

1.No food til 12 PM 2. Lift 3-4x per week 3. Majority of calories from meat/protein 4. Walk more

 

Activities to get there:

• Lift 4x/week

• Intermittent Fasting Sunday-Thursday

• Slow Carb Diet Sunday -Thursday

• 24 hour fasts on Mondays

Journaling Habit

I started this in the end of 2020 and it clears my mind and helps me think straight. I know meditation is supposed to help with that but I haven’t been able to manage that. This seems much more attainable.

Progress as of 7/8:

On track. About 1/2 way through this journal. I don’t do it daily (sometimes I do) but rarely go over 5 days without writing something down.

Activities to get there:

• I installed the Everyday chrome extension to track this. Helps a lot as a reminder.
